12″ EEE PCs from Asus – the next step
2009 brought a new increase for netbooks screen. Producers abandoned the 10″ models for last ones for a bigger 12″ standard. This brought along many advantages: better screen, better hardware, more usable design. But, also brought increased price and weight.
Asus has recently announced a follower of the EeePC S101H, by the name of Asus EeePC S121. Equally elegant, Asus EeePC S121 has a bigger screen, 12,2 inch and a 1280×800 pixel resolution. As its predecessor, Asus EeePC S121 is “dressed up in Swarovski”, but also has a leather finishing around the multi-tactile touchpad.
The processor was changed to Intel Atom Z520, with a lower frequency (1,33 beside 1,66 of the Intel Atom N270), but the other characteristics are, more or less, the same. The webcam has a 1,3 MPx resolution. It will be soon released, so you should keep your money safe.

I for one like these new models. I even consider replacing my everyday heavy laptop with a desktop + such a netbook combination. But, as i saw the netbooks segment developing so much in the last 2-3 years, I’m just curios, what will they launch next? What will the next EEE PC line bring? What do you think?
