Asus 1201T and Lenovo X100 – AMD powered netbooks face-off
Although AMD powered netbooks are not as popular at their Intel counterparts, there are still a couple of good devices built on the Neo platform out there. The 12 inch Asus EEE PC 1201T and the 11.6 inch Lenovo Thinkpad X100 are just some of them, and the folks at Yugatech joined them in a short face-off to see which one prevails.
However, since both had similar configs (HD ready dispalys, AMD Athlon Neo MV-40 1.6GHz processor , ATI Radeon HD3200 graphics and 2GB or memory), results are pretty much the same. Still, the cheaper Asus is overall slightly better in most tests. The X100 comes close and benefits of its fancy Thinkpad looks and build quality, but also has a price tag 20% higher.
