Asus introduces new line of accessories for EEE PC netbooks

Asus is one of those companies capable of squeezing a buck out of you not only with their actual netbook, laptops or tablets, but also from accessories and limited editions they develop in partnership with famous designers and major companies.

It’s no secret that the Asus Lamborghini series sold massively not necessarily because of the hardware line up, but because of the brand association and the design, resembling the curves and shapes of race cars made by the famous Italian car manufacturer. As the year is just gearing up, Asus comes with a new line of accessories for their portable computers and tablets.

As Liliputing.com notices, most of them are not that new or original, but instead keep on marching on the roads which brought fame and fortune over the years. One of the most impressive line up is that of mouses and external hard drives made in collaboration with Karim Rashid and David Lewis.

The accessories sure look great and have that touch of class and refinement we rarely get in notebook and netbook accessories which are primarily cheap and oriented towards an audience which, before all, wants to spend as little as possible on their computing. The David Lewis line comes with a discrete silver finish and slick and clear lines, resembling the kind of setup you might find in a high end New York club.

Next in line, is the Lamborghini series, namely a mouse and external HDD, which keeps the same aggressive and solid design we had on previous Asus-Lamborghini collaborations.

Last, but not least, there’s the Republic of Gamers line, which comes with a  mouse that uses laser technology and is built to offer great comfort and mobility for gamers going all the way, while the design of the entire pack has a high tech, black and red colored theme.
