Dell Inspiron Mini 10 with 3G, for $199.99 from Sprint
Sprint now offers the 10 inch Dell Inspiron Mini 10 with an integrated 3G modem for jsut $199.99 .
I’m pretty sure you all know details about the Mini 10, a decent standard netbook that offers the Intel Z520 CPU, 1 GB of RAM, 160 GB hard-drive and the 10.1 inch display (1024 x 600 px resolution) plus Windows XP Home OS. This version embeds also an internal EV-DO modem. Unlike the regular 3G modems, this one is a little slower; in real life, it would provide upload speeds of 300-500 kbps and download speeds of 600 kpbs – 1.4 mbps .
Like i said, Sprint will sell this netbook for $199.99, and that’s more than 100 bucks less that the standard retail price. But there’s a catch: you have to stick with a $60 monthly for 2 years. So, the total price for the Mini 10 will get to a whooping $1400, but you’ll have decent unlimited Internet Access (as long as you’re in a 3G covered area).

Dell Inspiron Mini 10
In the end, if you need unlimited mobility and plan to get a subscription from Sprint, getting the Dell Mini 10 netbook would be a smart choice. Otherwise… not so much.
