Good news: Toshiba netbooks will get cheaper

I’m a big fan of Toshiba netbooks and i never tried to conceal that. Because they are just the perfect combination between performances, portability and design for my tastes.

That’s why finding out that Toshiba is planning to launch new cheap notebooks and netbooks early next year in order to consolidate their position on the under $600 market is really good news to me. Because that might mean the follower of the NB205 version might be just as good but with a lower price tag. Right?

Anyway, Toshiba’s move seems quite smart as the netbook market has grown a lot this year and is expected to reach a share of 20% from the entire laptop’s market. Hopefully other producers would join the dance and try to get better products with more affordable prices. After all, us, the consumers, would be the ones winning here.
