How to get a new 10 inch netbook for just $99?
Getting a brand new 10 inch netbook for just $99 sounds pretty good. And even better when I’ll tell you it’s not just any laptop, but the Samsung Go, with some pretty good specs.
In fact, you get the 1.6 GHz processor (older generation Atom N270), 1 GB of RAM, 160 GB storage space, Windows 7 Starter and good conectivity (Wi-fi 802.11 b/g and 3G, but no Bluetooth). And there’s also a 4 Cell battery that can provide around 5 hours of life.
Of course, there are better devices on the market right now, built on the PineTrail platform and thus offering better autonomy, but this one comes with 3G and provides Internet connectivity virtually anywhere (as long as you’re in a covered area).
This netbook usually sells for around $400. So how can you have it for only $99? Easy, you have to buy it along with an Internet data plan from AT&T, via Amazon. Prices for these packages vary according to your location and your needs, so you’d better check them out and see if the offer interests you.
I for one consider it a pretty good deal if you’re always on the move and need to stay online, especially since this laptop is made for on-the-road life, with its rough and robust exterior.
