HP Mini 210, 2102 and 5102 – new PineTrail netbooks from HP
HP were one the few not to announce new netbooks on PineTrail platform. But they did it at CES 2010, along with some other nice goodies i’m going to talk in some of the other posts.
First, let’s see what will these three new HP netbooks, the Mini 210, Mini 2102 and Mini 5102 bring. All part of what HP calls “the business netbooks” line.
HP Mini 210 – main features:

HP Mini 210 - cheapest of the three
- 10.1 inch display, 1024 x 600 px resolution
- 1.66 GHz Atom N450 processor
- up to 2 GB memory
- 320 GB hard drive
- 92% full-size keyboard
- 6 Cell battery life – up to 9 hours of life
- good connectivity: Wi-fi and Bluetooth, plus optional GPS
- available in Black, Silver, Blue and Red
The Mini 2102 is actually the same as the above, but according to HP, is a business oriented version, so it will come with a different software pack. Everything else is the same.
The HP Mini 5102 is also similar to the above, but it will come with more customizations options, like a more powerful N470 processor, SSD drives or bigger battery – the 6 Cell 66WAh one will offer up to 10 hours autonomy. Display can also be a touchscreen with support for multitouch gestures and you get a special carry handle integrated in the body.

Business netbook HP 5102
Prices start from:
- $299 for the Mini 2010
- $339 for the Mini 2102
- $399 for the Mini 5102 – but you’ll pay extra for all the options .
All these netbooks will be available in stores in the next weeks.
