Lenovo Ideapad S10-3s – new 10 inch netbook on the market
Lenovo prepares an update of one of their best 10 inch mini laptops, the S10-3. Already a device with great features and reviews and a candidate to the exclusive group of best 10 inch netbooks of the moment, the old Lenovo will get a couple of tweaks meant to make it even better. All these in a device called: Lenovo IdeaPad S10-3s.
Here are the specs for the new Lenovo 10 incher:
- Atom N450 (1.66 GHz) or N470 (1.83 GHz) processor
- 10.1 inch display, 1024 x 600 px or 1280 x 720 px resolutions
- up to 2GB of memory
- Windows 7 Starter or Windows XP as OSes
- up to 320GB HDD or up to 32GB SSD storage
- Wi-Fi N, optional Bluetooth and 3G
- 3 or 7 Cell batteries
As you can see, there will be quite a couple of options for this device. Starting price will be around $380, which is very much comparable to the ones of the Asus 1005PE or Toshiba NB305. Of course, the premium versions with all the extra features will get around 500 bucks. But I’m sure many of you would love the possibility to have SSD storage (which is fast and quiet, but expensive), the bigger resolution 10 inch screen, the good connectivity options and the big 7 Cell battery.

Lenovo Ideapad S10-3s - new 10 incher with improved features
On the outside, the new Lenovo S10-3s will be thinner than the current version, measuring 10.6 x 6.6 x 0.9 inch and weighing around 2.4 pounds with the 3 cell battery or around 2.7 pounds with the bigger 7 Cell one. Also, the corners are rounded and it seems that the textured matte case was dropped for a glossy one.
Anyway, look forward for more info on the Lenovo IdeaPad S10-3s in the following weeks.
