LG X200 and LX120 netbooks also displayed at CES

After mentioning the breath-taking LG X300 mini laptop yesterday, Brad from Liliputing (who has the chance to be actually present at CES), also tells us of some of the other “less shiny” netbooks LG presented at the show, the X200 and X120 versions. Still, both good devices with good features, and hopefully a fair price.

First one, LG X200, is an everyday 10 inch mini notebook with PineTrail inside and some powerful specs. See some of them bellow:

Fancier LG X200 10 inch netbook

  • Intel ATOM N450 (1.66 GHz) or N470 (1.83 Ghz) processors and GMA 3150 graphics
  • up to 2 GB of RAM
  • up to 320 GB storage drives
  • 10 inch HD ready display (1366 x 768 px)
  • Windows 7 Starter OS
  • decent conenctivity: Bluetooth + Wi-Fi
  • 4 or 6 Cell batteries
  • weighs 2,6 lbs and measures 10.6″ x 7.3″ x 1.2″

Also, as you can see from the picture below, looks quite nice and offers chiclet keyboard, but it’s not as light or fancy as the X300. It will probably be way more affordable, with a starting price of around $350-$380. Will hit the stores in February, so stay tuned for more updates.

The LG X120 will be even cheaper, as it packs the old ATOM hardware, with prices probably starting from around $300. This one will be available next week, we’ll update once spotted in some US stores. For now, check out some of the specs:

  • Intel ATOM N270 1.6 Ghz processor + GMA 500 graphics
  • probably 1 GB of RAM and up to 250 GB hard-drive
  • Windows 7 Starter or Windows XP OS
  • 3 or 6 Cell batteries
  • weighs 2.6 lbs and measures 10.4″ x 7″ x 1.3″

All in all, LGs X200 and X120 are just standard netbooks for an everyday user. Whether they will be successful or not will really depends on reliability, battery life and of course, prices.
