The Mini Wireless mouse is indeed small

Netbooks are meant to pe portable and light. Still, most of the time you will need a proper mouse in order to get your productivity high, and while the devices in this list of best netbook mice are all compact, there’s now an even better option.

It comes from a company called SwiftPoint and it is called the Future Mouse. And it is in fact the smallest mouse I’ve seen so far, a mini mouse you can easily hold it in your palm. Now, it’s not like all other mice on the market, as it provides pen-like grip. That means you’re going to maneuver it with only two fingers and this will take some time getting used to, but once you will, everything will run smoothly.

SwiftPoint’s gadget is in fact a wireless mini mouse and comes with a micro USB dongle , which also works as a magnetic dock for the mouse when not using it. Cool!

Now, producers say this mouse will significantly increase productivity when working on a laptop and I agree, as any mouse is better than a trackpad. I do have to add that this mouse is precise and comes with all the functions of a regular mouse, with scrolling, zooming, right/left click buttons, etc. Plus, it will work on most surfaces (won’t work on glass though, it’s an Optical not a Laser mouse) and one charge will be enough for around 3 weeks of work (there’s also a RapidCharge option that will give you an extra hour in just 30 seconds of charging, but don’t use that too often, it will ruin the battery).

Now, being so tiny does not come with a proper tiny price, as this mini mouse sells for 70 bucks in the states and 80 euro in Europe. So, while this micro mouse looks quite interesting and all, I doubt many would be willing to pay that much for a laptop mouse.
