MSI’s CULV netbook, the MSI U200, to show in Europe pretty soon
As we told you before, MSI was preparing a CULV netbook named U200 for the beginning of this fall. According to Fudzilla though, it seems this mini laptop will be available sooner, as it will hit the European stores from next week. Price tag will be around 499 euros .
For those of you unfamiliar with this netbook, the MSI U200 will pack:
- an Intel ULV 723 processor (1M Cache, 1.20 GHz, 800 MHz FSB)
- 2 GB of RAM , 250 GB hard-drive
- 12.1″ screen with a 1366 x 768 pixels resolution
- Wi-fi 802.11 b/g/n , Bluetooth, 3x USB ports, HDMI, etc
- 6 Cell battery
All these without sacrificing portability, as the MSI U200 weights just under 3 lbs .
Of course all these specs make it one of the most versatile netbooks on the market at the moment. So the price, although quite high, is justified. And we do expect to see it cheaper when it will reach the US Stores (not sure when, but hopefully soon).
