New ultra thin 12 inch Optima Mini Laptop
Chinese company Optima announced a new 12.1″ netbook at IFA 2009 , a device called the Mini laptop, that plans to be one of the slimmest portable mini notebooks on the market. You can see that from the picture bellow yourselves, but i don’t have any exact numbers for the width just yet.

Optima Mini Laptop - slim stylish 12 inch netbook
Since it comes with a 12.1″ screen, we can even name it a netbook. Especially if we take a look at hardware specs: the classic 1.6 GHz N270 CPU, 1 GB of RAM, 160 GB hard-drive, 1.3 MPx camera and Wi-fi 802.11 b/g . Also, the Optima Mini Laptop ships with Windows XP. The config is in fact pretty low for a 12 incher, but Optima probably did this to comply with Windows XP’s hardware limitations and to cut down costs.
No rumor on the prices or when will this device be available in US. Hopefully we’ll find more soon, as this Optima Mini might really have something to say in the stylish netbooks segment.
