Prices for the entire Viliv S10 range revealed – and they’re hefty
Since its early debut, Viliv’s S10 Blade mini laptop announced itself as quite an interesting machine, offering good looks and tons of features. Now, more than an year after we first head anything about it, the S10 is available for pre-order online. But price is pretty high for a 10 inch netbook, as it starts from $699.
You get of course the convertible HD ready multi-touch display, good hardware and connectivity options (including HSPA/3G), slim and light body (weighs only 2.6 pounds) and good battery life (up to 10 hours), but still, you also get most of those from the best 10 inch PineTrail equipped netbooks on the market (besides the fancy touch display, of course).

Viliv plans to sell the S10 blade in a couple of different versions and you can see them below:
- Atom Z530 1.6GHz/160GB HDD/Win XP – $699
- Atom Z530 1.6GHz/32GB SSD/Win 7 – $797
- Atom Z530 1.6GHz/64GB SSD/Win 7 – $857
- Atom Z530 1.6GHz/32GB SSD/Win 7/HSPA modem – $889
- Atom Z530 1.6GHz/64GB SSD/Win 7/HSPA modem – $949
- Atom Z550 2.0GHz/64GB SSD/Win 7 – $987
- Atom Z550 2.0GHz/64GB SSD/Win 7/HSPA modem – $1,079
And yes, the top version is definitely a nice device to have, especially since now the Z550 offers suport for HD Flash video, but for that price tag… I’m pretty sure they’ll be counting clients on their fingers (and might not even need both hands for that).
