The long awaited Apple touch tablet to start shipping from March
Whenever i hear about Apple’s tablet/netbook/mega portable device subject, i kind of get mixed feelings.
First, i get a little moody, as I’m sick and tired of the subject; it’s like every month a new rumors gets out and everyone talks about it.
Then though, i also get a little bit excited, as i am really curios on what will the guys from Apple manage to invent this time. I am after all convinced this new device will be innovative, and although it might not affect the standard netbook market, it will probably manage to create a new line of “touch tablet” fans.
So, when i heard that according to WSJ, the new device will start shipping from March, a big “Finally” came of my chest. So, if the rumor is right, in just two months time we’ll see this new Apple toy on the market. And then we’ll all be abel to get on with our lives ![]()

Apple Touch Tablet device - a giant iPhone?
Joke aside, the device that will supposedly be called iSlate will look like a giant iPhone, with a 10 or 11 inch multi-touch display and a thing body. Will come with Wi-fi and Bluetooth, probably with a nice battery life, 3G (thus Apple might offer it along some big carriers with subscription plans for discounted prices) and will cost around 1000 bucks (without a plan). And yes, a new and sparkling UI that will have much to say regarding the success/failure of the product. But still, these are just suppositions, and until Steve will perform another genie out of the envelope trick on us (like with the Macbook Air
), nothing can’t be said for sure.
But stay tuned and subscribe, we’ll update you on the Apple touch tablet subject as we go along.
