Toshiba Mini NB305 gets upgrade, with N455 processor and DDR3 support
My favorite mini netbook of the moment and the one I consider a top pick in the list of best 10 inch netbooks available right now, the Toshiba Mini NB305, will get soon a couple of minor improvements.

Toshiba NB305 gets new processor option
Nothing is going to change on the outside: the solid build quality will remain the same, and also will the comfortable chiclet keyboard or big touchpad.
In fact, the only upgrade is inside, where the NB305 will get an option for a new processor, the Atom N455 with DDR3 support. This has the same specs as the N450, 1.66 GHz speed, 512 KB of cache and 667 MHz FSB. So, don’t expect the new version, which might bear the name Toshiba Mini NB305-10F to offer any noticeable improvement in terms of performances.
So I for one don’t really care much about this upgrade. It’s supposed to go for 350 euros in France, but I’m not sure how much will it cost in the US. Anyway, if it’s going to be more than $375 (that’s how much the NB305s go for now), i’m not interested. The old versions are just great for me.
