frankie, notebooks and laptops are basically the same thing. netbooks are theoretically smaller and cheaper laptops, so for a 2nd grader, i would get one of these

Are any of these (netbook, notebook, laptop) appropriate for a 2nd-grader? She has outgrown the hand-helds (Leapster) stuff and we’d like to give her some educational electronics to continue.

This is a very nice and unique review. In particular I was looking for a review on the keyboards of netbooks. I was worried it was small. If we can adapt to it within few hours then that is great to know!
