You can now preorder the Sony Vaio W for $499
Sony is moving pretty fast. After they just announced their first netbook a couple of weeks ago, the Sony Vaio W is now available for preoder.
You can find it on Amazon and it will cost you $499. The white version is already out of stock, so you might hurry up and book a pink or brown one as you still have the chance.
This tiny Vaio comes with a 10.1″ screen, Intel Atom N280, 1 Gb of RAM, 160 GB hard drive, Windows XP and 3 cell battery (2.5 hours of juice). Here you can read a more detailed preview on this Sony netbook.
So, as I was saying, you can preoder the Sony Vaio W on Amazon for $499 . Pretty cheap, considering it’s a Vaio. Deliveries will start later this month or in August. And this will be only the first version of the W, more are to come, with better storage and batteries.
